1. About WonderQuest

WonderQuest is an educational exploration application designed to encourage children to discover new subjects, develop curiosity and enjoy learning beyond their regular academic curriculum.

These Terms govern use of the WonderQuest applications, website and associated services.

A parent or guardian who creates a WonderQuest Family account agrees to these Terms and is responsible for use of Explorer profiles associated with that account.

2. Parent-Managed Service

WonderQuest uses a Parent-controlled Family account.

Parents and guardians are responsible for:

• creating and managing the Parent account;
• creating and managing Explorer profiles;
• providing accurate Parent account information;
• maintaining the confidentiality of their Family PIN and account credentials;
• supervising children's use where appropriate; and
• managing device permissions and purchases.

Explorer profiles are intended for children and do not require independent email accounts.

3. Educational Purpose

WonderQuest provides educational discoveries, questions, challenges and explanations intended to encourage curiosity and learning.

WonderQuest supplements rather than replaces formal education, textbooks, teachers or authoritative academic resources.

Although reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate and age-appropriate information, educational information and AI-assisted explanations may occasionally contain errors or become outdated.

4. Accounts and Security

Parents are responsible for protecting access to their WonderQuest Family account and Family PIN.

Users must not attempt to access another family's account or interfere with WonderQuest's systems, security or operation.

WonderQuest may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or maintain the security of the service.

5. Voice Features

WonderQuest may provide optional voice-based features.

Use of Voice Answer requires microphone and speech-recognition permissions.

Users can choose not to use voice functionality and may use available non-voice answering methods instead.

6. Coins, XP and Virtual Rewards

WonderQuest includes virtual learning and reward mechanisms such as:

WonderQuest Coins, XP, streaks, achievements, Explorer Legacy, Power Ups and virtual accessories.

These features are part of the WonderQuest learning experience.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, virtual rewards:

• have no cash or monetary value;
• cannot be redeemed for money;
• cannot be sold or transferred;
• do not represent financial assets; and
• may be adjusted as WonderQuest's learning and reward systems evolve.

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

WonderQuest may offer paid subscriptions or features.

Purchases made through the iOS application are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Purchases made through the Android application are processed by Google through Google Play.

Applicable purchases are therefore also subject to Apple's or Google's payment, subscription, cancellation and refund terms.

Deleting a WonderQuest account does not itself cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.

8. AI-Assisted Content

Some WonderQuest learning explanations may be generated or enhanced using artificial intelligence.

AI-assisted content is intended for educational exploration and may occasionally contain inaccuracies.

WonderQuest may combine AI-assisted explanations with curated learning material and trusted educational sources, but users should not rely on WonderQuest as the sole authoritative source for important factual, medical, safety or other high-stakes decisions.

9. Appropriate Use

Users must not:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to WonderQuest systems or accounts;
• interfere with the service's operation or security;
• deliberately exploit vulnerabilities;
• use automated systems to abuse WonderQuest;
• attempt to manipulate purchases or virtual rewards improperly;
• use WonderQuest for unlawful purposes; or
• use the service in a manner that infringes the rights of others.

10. Intellectual Property

WonderQuest's original software, branding, interface, graphics, learning presentation, question structures and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party trademarks, technologies, educational sources and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Use of WonderQuest does not transfer ownership of WonderQuest intellectual property to users.

11. External Educational Sources

WonderQuest may provide links or references to trusted external educational sources.

Those websites and services are operated independently and have their own content, terms and privacy practices.

Parents should supervise children's access to external websites where appropriate.

For a Kids Category iOS app, external links accessible to children need particular care; Apple generally requires links out and purchasing opportunities to be reserved behind an appropriate parental gate.

12. Privacy

Use of WonderQuest is subject to the WonderQuest Privacy Policy.

Parents should review the Privacy Policy before creating Explorer profiles.

13. Account Deletion

Parents may request deletion of their WonderQuest Family account and associated WonderQuest data through the account-management/deletion facilities provided by WonderQuest.

Store subscriptions must be managed separately through Apple or Google.

14. Changes and Availability

WonderQuest is an evolving educational project.

Features, educational topics, reward systems, content and availability may be added, modified or discontinued.

WonderQuest may temporarily suspend portions of the service for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

15. Disclaimer

WonderQuest is provided on an "as available" basis.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, WonderQuest does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every educational or AI-assisted explanation will always be complete, current or error-free.

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as WonderQuest develops.

The latest version and effective date will be published on the WonderQuest website.
